Who we serve

The families that we serve are diverse and multicultural. Immigrant or native born, they share a common need for shelter, support and understanding. Reversals of fortune (loss of a job, or illness) have left them without a home or at the brink of homelessness. The instability and the hardships of their situation have rendered them ashamed, embarrassed, humiliated and desperate. It often takes them some time to regain their lost self-esteem and become "whole" again.
The graphs below capture the "demographic statistics" of the people that we serve. What they will not do is show you their faces, their smiles or their names.
